**Commodity Manager** **Location:** Dublin, CA (Onsite) **Base Pay:** $110,000 -- $170,000 / year Temp to Hire **Overview** Seeking a Senior Commodity Manager to lead global sourcing strategies and strengthen supplier performance across critical technologies. This role partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to drive cost optimization, supply continuity, and risk mitigation within a complex manufacturing environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and execute global commodity strategies focused on cost, risk mitigation, and supplier performance. * Manage strategic supplier relationships and serve as the executive point of contact. * Lead contract negotiations, including long-term agreements and supplier partnerships. * Drive cross-functional sourcing alignment with Engineering, Quality, and Operations. * Establish supplier scorecards, lead QBRs, and monitor market and pricing trends. * Implement dual-sourcing and business continuity strategies for key commodities. * Mentor and lead commodity team members while driving continuous improvement initiatives. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field. * 8--10+ years of experience in commodity management or strategic sourcing. * Strong background in global sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost modeling. * 3--5 years of leadership experience managing teams or cross-functional initiatives. * Experience in high-tech, electronics, semiconductor, or contract manufacturing preferred. **Search managed by:** Carly Dilworth Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
