**Project Manager - Data Center Projects** We are hiring a **Project Manager - Data Center Projects** for a **full-time, direct-hire opportunity in the Richardson, TX / DFW area** . The position will start remotely with travel to project sites as needed, likely around **3 days per week** . This role supports large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects and will oversee projects from **preconstruction and procurement through construction, L1-L5 commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and final turnover** . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced **Data Center Construction Project Manager** looking to take ownership of complex, high-value mission-critical projects. You will have visibility across the entire project lifecycle and work closely with design teams, field leadership, OEMs, commissioning providers, BMS/EPMS integrators, and client operations. The position offers strong growth potential in the rapidly expanding data center sector, along with a competitive **$130K-$140K base salary, performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits** . Required Skills \& Experience 7+ years of construction project management experience 3+ years of **data center or mission-critical construction** experience Experience delivering **$20M+ construction projects** on fast-track schedules Strong understanding of **MEP systems and critical power/cooling infrastructure** Knowledge of **UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, BMS, and EPMS** Understanding of data center redundancy configurations including **N, N+1, and 2N** Hands-on exposure to **L1-L5 commissioning and Integrated Systems Testing (IST)** Experience managing long-lead equipment procurement, vendor coordination, FAT and SAT activities Experience developing and managing project schedules using **Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project** Experience with **Procore and construction cost management tools** Strong knowledge of change control, RFIs, change orders, cost forecasting, and project risk management Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills Desired Skills \& Experience Familiarity with **Uptime Institute Tier concepts and TIA-942 resiliency ratings** Working knowledge of **ASHRAE TC 9.9 guidelines** Experience with phased data center turnover and upgrades in live/energized environments Experience developing or executing **MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs** PMP, CCM, or equivalent project management credential Experience coordinating commissioning providers, OEMs, BMS/EPMS integrators, and client operations What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 30% Data Center Construction \& MEP Coordination 25% Commissioning L1-L5 \& IST 20% Project Scheduling, Cost \& Risk Management 15% Procurement \& Vendor Management 10% QA/QC, Documentation \& Turnover Daily Responsibilities 30% Project \& Construction Management 30% Schedule, Cost, Risk \& Procurement Management 40% Team, Vendor \& Stakeholder Collaboration The Offer **$130K-$140K base salary** Performance bonus eligible Full-time, direct-hire opportunity Growth opportunities within the mission-critical/data center sector You will receive the following benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Match Vacation Time Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
