Industrial Maintenance Technician Chicago, IL 60652 Pay: Up to $50/hour Looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical and electronic background to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities: * Troubleshoot HMIs and trace control and power circuits to find open circuits, shorts, and failed components. * Repair or replace fuses, breakers, relays, contactors, sensors, and interlocks. * Troubleshoot inputs and outputs, switches, photoeyes, and encoders. * Use a multimeter and electrical diagrams to find and repair issues with safety circuits, start/stop relays, heater contactors, and control voltage loops. * Communicate downtime causes, estimated repair times, and follow-up needs with supervisors, operators, and engineering. Requirements: * 8+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience with a strong electrical and electronic focus. * Comfortable reading electrical diagrams and using a multimeter. * Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical components, sensors, and control circuits. * Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
