Contract Duration: 18 Months **Required Skills \& Experience** * 4 years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education. * 3-7 years of experience supporting Oracle databases in enterprise environments. * Strong understanding of: * Oracle Database Administration * Oracle SQL * PL/SQL * Query tuning * Execution plans * Performance diagnostics * Experience working with: * AWR * ASH * SQL Tuning * Optimizer behavior * Statistics management * Experience developing automation solutions for database operations. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear operational recommendations. **Desired Skills \& Experience** * AI \& Automation * Understanding of: * MCP (Model Context Protocol) * Agentic AI architectures * Agent-to-agent workflows * Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) * Generative AI concepts * Familiarity with AI governance, explainability, and trusted data practices. **What You Will Be Doing** * Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Database Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Database Engineering deliverables. * Review and analyze moderately complex Database Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. * Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Database Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. * Collaborate with client personnel in Database Engineering.
