Requirements - ----------- ### Must have: ### - We require a Masters degree with at least 3 years of experience, or a PhD, in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a closely related discipline. - We are looking for a strong grasp of current and emerging battery technologies, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and combustion. - We need hands-on experience with battery fire testing and related experimental methods in fire science. - Experience testing high-voltage battery systems, such as BESS or UPS systems, is highly desirable. - We value strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop practical solutions to complex technical problems. - We seek strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary research setting.
