Requirements - ----------- ### Must have: ### - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience/training - CCNA Certification preferred - Over 5 years of proven experience in network, system, or software architecture, design, implementation, support, and evaluation of network-focused tools and services - Extensive hands-on experience with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, MBGP/BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN - Advanced understanding and application of IT networking best practices - Practical knowledge of advanced networking concepts including WiFi, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and VOIP - Experience managing core network infrastructure, including SD-WAN, Edge Firewall, and routing/switching environments - Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments - Experience with on-premises VOIP phone systems, IP faxing, and cloud conference/meeting solutions - In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS, SANoS, and NXOS - Experience overseeing projects from inception to implementation - Familiarity with programming and scripting languages Responsibilities: - ---------------- - Assist in designing, installing, and maintaining networks to ensure maximum availability - Recommend, specify, and implement technology solutions while collaborating as part of project deployment teams - Conduct statistical analysis for capacity planning purposes - Offer technical support to address and resolve network-related challenges - Provide network support across various operating systems - Install and configure computer network equipment to maintain connectivity for all workstations - Support users with network-related issues - Develop and enforce policies governing the use of network resources - Implement disaster recovery and backup solutions - Evaluate and suggest security enhancements and system upgrades - Monitor network performance to ensure optimal functioning - Create and manage network user permissions - Conduct product testing to minimize user impact and verify compatibility - Generate technical support documentation for systems and applications - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Company: - ------- At Baptist Health, we are the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in the region, operating 12 hospitals along with over 28,000 staff members and 4,500 physicians across Miami-Dade, Monroe, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
