As a Part-Time Kennel Assistant, you'll play an important role in providing exceptional care to our hospitalized patients and boarding pets while supporting our veterinary team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming facility. ### Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role: * Provide daily care for hospitalized patients and boarding pets * Feed, water, and monitor pets for comfort and well-being alk dogs and assist with exercise and enrichment activities * Bathe pets and maintain cleanliness and hygiene * Clean kennels, treatment areas, laundry, and hospital spaces * Monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or health concerns * Safely handle dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments * Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians as needed * Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary hospital environment ### What You'll Bring: * Must have previous animal experience * Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects * A sense of fun and teamwork -- Smiles and laughter are required for all who apply * Dependable and able to work independently * The ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease * A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets * References, background checks, and drug testing are required ### Benefits: As a part-time team member, you'll enjoy a supportive and collaborative environment where you can gain hands-on veterinary experience while making a meaningful impact on the lives of pets and their families.
