We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role * Design, implement, and maintain database systems across multiple platforms (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL) * Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and security of databases * Collaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders on data architecture and issue resolution * Implement and test backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies * Manage database security, including user access and compliance * Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting tools like PowerShell, Bash, and Python What You'll Need * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience * 1-3+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL in a production environment * Expertise in database installation, configuration, and performance tuning * Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex database issues * Proficiency with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation * Working knowledge of Microsoft ETL processes, including SSIS and SSRS What's On Offer * Paid Time Off and 401k Savings Plan * Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance * Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance * Free $25,000 life insurance policy with additional programs available Apply via Haystack today!
