**Nexus Employment Solutions Plus is hiring CNC Machinists and Manual Lay Operators in the Danville, IL area.** Candidates must have previous hands-on experience in CNC machining and/or manual lay operations. Pay \& Schedule * Full Time * Monday--Friday * 1st Shift: 7:00 AM--3:30 PM * Starting Pay: Approximately $24/hour Responsibilities * Operate CNC machinery and/or perform manual lay operations * Set up and operate equipment safely and efficiently * Read and follow job specifications, measurements, and work instructions * Measure parts accurately and maintain quality standards * Monitor equipment and production processes * Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines * Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications * Previous experience with **CNC machining and/or manual lay operations required** * Strong mechanical and manufacturing skills * Ability to read and follow measurements and work instructions * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Reliable attendance and ability to work independently * Willingness to complete a **hands-on skills test as part of the interview process** Interview Process Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a **hands-on test** during the interview to demonstrate their CNC machining and/or manual lay experience.
