These principles shape our culture and define what it means to succeed at our firm. **StoneTurn is seeking a qualified Associate Consultant (Intern) to join our Economic Litigation Consulting team.** ****ROLE SUMMARY**** In this role you will be responsible for advanced economic analyses related to client engagements performed within the context of litigation and privilege consulting services. You will add value to our team by possessing a demonstrated ability to strategize, prioritize and execute. You will have strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. This position also requires you to be a person with strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills. ****ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**** * Perform economic consulting services as it relates to labor economics (wage \& hour disputes), complex antitrust, class-action, and commercial litigation matters supporting expert witness opinions in different court venues. * Organize, manipulate and analyze large and/or unstructured datasets utilizing statistical software * Develop and communicate work product, both orally and in writing to supervisors, management and clients * Compile and analyze facts and circumstances to formulate, substantiate and critique various damages theories, claims or conclusions * Draft reports noting findings including, but not limited to the preparation of tables, exhibits and data visualizations * Attend client and internal team meetings to understand client objectives and requirements, leading to the execution of well formulated work product. * Understand and incorporate client needs and objectives into work plans and work product * Develop and maintain client relationships and relationships with firm colleagues ****QUALIFICATIONS / IDEAL CANDIDATE**** * Bachelor's degree in progress within Economics, Statistics, Data Science or related quantitative field with demonstrated coursework in economics. * Understands and can apply intermediate economic, statistical, and econometric concepts. * Demonstrated ability to perform complex data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization using R, Python, SAS, or Stata. * Excellent prioritization skills. * Demonstrated record of working well in both team and independent atmospheres. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Must be flexible with work schedule and requirements of client service projects. ****DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS**** * Master's degree in progress within Economics or Statistics * Eligibility to join the work force on a full-time basis within next year * SQL proficiency a plus. * Familiarity with Tableau a plus. ****ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**** A 10-week internship from June through August A "seasonal employee" is an employee who is hired into a position for which the customary annual employment is six months or less. ****AFFIRMATIVE ACTION/EEO STATEMENT:**** Our firm provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment in accordance with applicable federal, state, or local laws. ****ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:****This job description outlines the primary responsibilities of the position.
