**Location:** Cary, NC **Salary:** $51.00 USD Hourly - $52.00 USD Hourly **Description:** **Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer** **Location: Cary, NC** **Duration: Contract 1 Years** **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain embedded software applications using **C/C and MATLAB Simulink**. * Perform requirements analysis, operational concept development, and software architecture design. * Implement software features and resolve defects according to defined requirements. * Participate in code reviews, software integration, and testing activities. * Maintain feature-level software architecture across multiple vehicle platforms and configurations. * Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues. * Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure software quality and reliability. * Work with embedded operating systems, device drivers, and hardware interfaces. * Support vehicle platform validation, testing, and performance tuning. * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile development environment. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. * Experience in embedded software development using **C and/or C**. * Hands-on experience with **MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, or Model-Based Design tools**. * Knowledge of embedded operating systems and software drivers. * Experience with **CAN/J1939 communication protocols**. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Experience writing and reviewing software requirements. * Understanding of software development and delivery processes.
