SEO Specialist (Contract) Role Overview We are looking for a data-driven SEO Specialist to lead our organic growth efforts for B2B target markets. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded expert who can seamlessly navigate the technical backend of a website while executing high-level on-page and off-page strategies. You will be responsible for auditing our current digital footprint, fixing technical bottlenecks, and building a robust backlink profile to improve our search engine rankings and drive qualified organic traffic. Key Responsibilities * **Technical SEO:** Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify and resolve crawlability, indexing, site architecture, and mobile-usability issues. * **Performance Optimization:** Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and overall page load speeds to meet search engine standards. * **On-Page Optimization:** Optimize website content, meta titles, descriptions, header tags, and internal linking structures based on strategic keyword research. * **Off-Page Strategy:** Develop and execute a proactive off-page SEO strategy to elevate domain authority and brand visibility. * **Backlink Building:** Actively acquire high-quality, relevant backlinks through ethical, white-hat outreach and digital PR tactics. * **Analytics \& Reporting:** Track, analyze, and report on keyword rankings, backlink profiles, and organic traffic trends. Qualifications \& Skills * Proven track record as a freelance SEO Specialist with a portfolio demonstrating successful organic growth. * Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO best practices. * Demonstrated experience in executing safe, effective link-building campaigns. * Proficiency in standard web analytics and webmaster tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console). * **Bonus/Preferred:** Hands-on experience using **Serpstat** for keyword research, site auditing, and competitor analysis. * **Bonus/Preferred:** experience in B2B SEO. Specifically in the trades or similar blue-collar industries * Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to deliver results independently.
