Requirements - ----------- ### Must have: ### - We require a bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience. - We look for 7+ years of software development experience, including proven technical leadership in designing and delivering production web applications. - We expect advanced command of modern web development, including JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, browser compatibility, and web accessibility. - We need deep experience with one or more modern front-end frameworks such as React or Vue, with a component-based user interface approach. - We value experience building and integrating web services with Node.js, Express, REST APIs, Swagger, or OpenAPI; C# .NET is a plus. - We require a strong grasp of client-side performance, security, authentication, caching, testing, and observability for high-traffic web applications. - We expect expertise in source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and dependable release practices. - We look for experience in Agile or Lean environments and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. - We require flexibility to participate in on-call production incident escalation. - We need strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions to technical and non-technical audiences. - Preferred: experience designing front-end platforms, reusable component libraries, design systems, or micro-frontend architectures. - Preferred: experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, and with content delivery, caching, or edge services. - Preferred: experience with DevOps and observability tools such as Python, Jenkins, Nomad, Consul, Rundeck, Chef, Nexus, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or Sentry. - Preferred: experience with the Atlassian stack, including Jira and Confluence. - Preferred: knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and scalable distributed systems. - Preferred: experience in financial services such as Wealth Management, Asset Management, Advised Investing, or Direct Investing.
