This role is responsible for safely transporting children to and from local schools while also supporting a positive and structured environment for school-age students. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and values safety, consistency, and teamwork. **Key Responsibilities** * Safely transport school-age children to and from local elementary schools * Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain transportation logs * Ensure children are safely loaded, secured, and supervised during transportation * Maintain compliance with all transportation safety procedures and licensing requirements * Support school-age classrooms and activities between transportation runs as needed * Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and center leadership * Maintain a positive and professional attitude with children and team members **Qualifications** * High school diploma required * Prior childcare experience preferred * Valid driver's license with clean driving record required * Experience driving children or passengers preferred * Strong reliability, communication, and supervision skills * Must meet Virginia childcare licensing and transportation requirements **What We Offer** * Competitive hourly pay of $20--$25 based on experience and qualifications * Consistent weekday schedule * Supportive leadership and team environment * Professional development opportunities * Employee childcare discount Apply today to join The Learning Experience -- Bristow and help provide a safe, dependable transportation experience for our school-age students and families.
