The Remote Bookkeeper will provide vital support to our finance department at Bsfhc by handling day-to-day accounting tasks. The role involves maintaining the financial records of our company through the use of advanced bookkeeping software, while communicating and cooperating remotely with our team. As an organization, we place immense value on accuracy, integrity and transparency, qualities we look for in a Remote Bookkeeper. ### Responsibilities: * Ensuring that all transactions are well-documented, posting transactions, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc. * Preparing financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. * Regularly audit own work for errors to ensure accuracy then update ledgers, budgets, etc. * Cooperating with the team to work on financial audits when necessary. * Performing reconciliations of accounts processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts. * Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. ### Qualifications: * A solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, and financial statements. * Proven experience as a bookkeeper in a comparable, remote-based position. * Experience with cloud accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) and data management tools. * Excellent mathematical skills and an analytical mind. * Attention to detail and the ability to identify numerical errors. * BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is preferred, with additional certification like Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Bookkeeper (CB) being a plus. ### Benefits: Working as a Remote Bookkeeper with Bsfhc, you'll be part of an incredibly supportive team and an engaging work environment where you can grow both professionally and personally.
