**Quality Control Chemist II - Contract - Johns Creek, GA - $38.00 - $43.00/hr** The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position. Our client is seeking a Quality Control Chemist II in Johns Creek, GA Role Description Perform method development and method improvement Perform method validations, method transfers with other sites or suppliers, and periodic method reviews Perform compendial assessments and changes Perform instrument qualifications, periodic validation reviews, and various instrument lifecycle tasks Manage complex technical projects and make key technical decisions Provide troubleshooting support to the analytical chemistry lab on instrument and method issues Provide support for laboratory investigations and corrective actions Skills \& Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field Computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communications skills Excellent problem solving skills Experience with method validations and instrument qualifications Masters or PhD in Chemistry or related field Experience with LabVantage LIMS or similar LIM system Experience with Empower 3 or similar data acquisition system Method development/validation Instrument qualification Experience working in medical device or pharmaceutical fields Benefits/Other Compensation This position is a contract/temporary role where Hays offers you the opportunity to enroll in full medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, 401K and Life Insurance ($20,000 benefit).
