Quality Control Associate

**Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Quality Control Associate - Reagent Manufacturing for a 12 month contract position with a major healthcare company located in Tucson, AZ.** **Responsibilities:** * Perform inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process materials and finished goods in a compliant manner * Document test results, complete batch records, document observations and generate reports for qualification testing * Conduct data analysis of raw material, in-process and finished goods test results * Generate compliant QC documentation as part of the Device History Record required for releasing items into inventory * Maintain records and QC lab environment to comply with cGMP, OP and regulatory requirements * Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment outlined by operating procedures * Perform regular laboratory and manufacturing environmental monitoring testing * Perform lab supply ordering and inventory management * Foster and follow an established safety culture, environmental guidelines and procedures * Formulate reagents with high complexity for material testing process * Act as QC representative in transferring processes from development to QC * Assist in performing, reviewing and/or generating validations for QC processes and laboratory equipment * Ensure all processes are performed in a safe and healthy manner; address and escalate any potentially unsafe hazards * Accurately perform tasks in a regulated environment (OSHA, FDA, etc) * Adhere to internal training compliance and maintain complete and accurate records * Conduct 6S activities, gather/meet cycle times and develop/follow standard work; identify and implement process improvements * Proactively collaborate with peers and with other functions to ensure targets are achieved * Work closely with diverse cross-functional teams, including vendors, planners, and various departments **Requirements:** * High School Diploma with 7 years of work experience, preferably in a regulated industry, OR * Associate's Degree with 3 years of work experience, OR * Bachelor's Degree in Science or Life Science discipline with less than 1 year of work experience * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Strong data-analysis skills, with a clear understanding of analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Hands-on experience in a laboratory * Accurate and precise manual pipetting and measuring techniques * Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Ability to utilize Google suite and computer programs * Proficient ability to perform a wide range of moderate and high complexity laboratory techniques (titration, spectroscopy, protein analysis, tissue testing, etc) * Ability to lift up to 25lbs * Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, bend, crouch for a combined 4 or more hours per day **Desired skills:** * Experience with handling corrosive and biohazardous reagents * Experience working in GLP, cGMP or ISO regulated environments * Experience with 6S and Lean techniques **Pay range:** up to $30.02 per hour **Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.** **If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!** **Aptask Global Workforce (AGW)** ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is a certified Minority and Veteran workforce solutions company.
