Your mission ============ **Product Line Manager (f/m/d) -- Laser Diodes** **Take ownership of our laser diodes -- from materials to customers** Location: Dortmund, Germany Employment type: Full-time (40 hours/week) Salary: EUR 50,000--65,000 gross per year If you enjoy understanding a product down to the smallest detail and following issues through to resolution, we look forward to getting to know you. * Ownership of an assigned product line and a detailed understanding of its materials, components, specifications, performance and applications * Planning, coordination and execution of product qualification and reliability testing, including evaluation of results and preparation of qualification reports * Analysis of measurement and production data to assess product performance, investigate deviations and support improvements * Coordination of the initial release of new materials and products into production * Creation and maintenance of technical product documentation, including specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), bills of process (BOPs) and release records * Creation and maintenance of part numbers as well as product and material master data, ensuring accuracy, consistency and traceability * Maintenance of product line information, including material classifications and product variants * Cross-departmental coordination of technical product changes, ensuring complete and up-to-date documentation and product information * Gradual takeover of technical support for our Sales team and customers, including clarifying requirements and preparing product data and analyses Your profile ============ * Technical background in photonics, gained through education or relevant professional experience * Familiarity with semiconductor lasers, optoelectronic components or related photonic products * Experience in product characterisation, qualification, reliability testing or measurement data analysis * Confident use of appropriate analytical tools to evaluate measurement and production data * Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in how every material, component and process step affects the final product * A strong sense of ownership and the drive to investigate discrepancies thoroughly and follow issues through to resolution * Careful handling of technical documentation and data * Independent, systematic working style and effective coordination across departments * Ability to explain technical findings clearly to colleagues and customers * Fluent German and English, both written and spoken **Nice to Have** * Experience in product line management, product engineering, qualification or a similar technical role * Experience with MES/ERP systems Why us? ======= For our site in Dortmund, we are looking for a photonics professional to join us as Product Line Manager (f/m/d).
