This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys leading a classroom team while creating meaningful learning experiences that build confidence, independence, and early academic foundations. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead daily preschool classroom instruction and activities * Support early literacy, math readiness, and problem-solving development * Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment * Guide assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency * Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress and milestones * Implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences * Maintain compliance with New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required * Prior preschool classroom leadership experience preferred * Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice * Excellent classroom management and communication skills * Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
