Requirements - ----------- ### Must have: ### - We need strong programming skills in Python, Lua, C/C++, Rust, Go, or similar languages. - We need a solid understanding of computer architecture and chip or system validation practices. - We need experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. - We need firmware testing or development experience, including BIOS, BMC, or drivers. - We value domain knowledge in PCIe, HBM, GPUs, neural networks, or ML hardware architecture. - We need familiarity with the full validation flow, from RTL simulation and emulation through silicon failure analysis and debug. - We need at least 5 years of programming experience in one software language. - We need a bachelors degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. - We need at least 5 years of non-internship experience in system test development, code reviews, source control, build processes, automated deployments, and operations. - We need experience working in Linux environments and with Git. - We need experience with server hardware and debug tools. - We need experience with machine learning hardware and software architecture. - Experience with CI/CD is preferred. - Experience with EDA simulation or emulation is preferred. Responsibilities: - ---------------- - We develop validation strategies and introduce new methods to improve coverage and shorten root-cause analysis time. - We create detailed test plans covering functional, performance, power, and stress testing from silicon bring-up through release. - We mentor and guide junior validation engineers. - We run complex test plans across RTL simulation, emulation, and physical silicon validation. - We perform hands-on silicon bring-up and deep debug using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers. - We validate ML accelerator performance, accuracy, and reliability using real neural network workloads. - We build test infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated regression frameworks to support large-scale validation. - We collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, and software teams to triage failures and drive root-cause analysis to closure. - We review test results, identify trends, and provide feedback to improve design quality and validation coverage. - We deliver new tests to production systems in AWS data centers and manufacturing to improve fleet health. - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Company: - ------- We are hiring a Senior Validation Engineer for our Machine Learning Acceleration team, focused on validating next-generation AI/ML accelerators from early design checks through emulation, silicon bring-up, post-silicon validation, and ongoing support of production systems in AWS data centers.
