Physikerin / Physiker (w/m/d) ============================= 25% Arbeitszeit - -------------- * Institute for Astroparticle Physics (IAP) * 2,5 years * as soon as possible * Full-time * 65,000.00 to 82,000.00 EUR gross per year share this job! ### Your Tasks * Untersuchungen und Weiterentwicklung der magnetischen und elektrischen Feldberechnungscodes (axialsymmetrisch und 3D) von KEMField und KASSIOPEIA hinsichtlich Genauigkeit, numerischer Stabilität und Geschwindigkeit * Erweiterung der KASSIOPEIA Bibliothek für axialsymmetrische und dreidimensionale elektrische und magnetische Feldberechnungen * CPU- und GPU-basierende, zwei- und dreidimensionale elektrische Feldberechnungen für elektrostatische Optimierungen der Zeitprojektionskammern für die derzeitige XENONnT und zukünftige XLZD dunkle Materie Experimente * Erstellen von Dokumentationen und Ausbildung von Studierenden mit Simulationstools ### Your Profile * Hochschulstudium in Physik (Master) mit abgeschlossener Promotion und langjähriger Berufserfahrung * tiefgreifende C++ Kenntnisse * sehr gute Kenntnisse / Erfahrung mit dem KASSIOPEIA Simulationspaket (stark bevorzugt) * Erfahrung mit elektromagnetischen Feldberechnungen (bevorzugt) * gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift * Teamfähigkeit und didaktische Kenntnisse.
