* Location: Jacksonville, Florida * Type: Direct Hire * Job #11701 * Salary: $100000 Location Type: On-Site Our client is looking for an experience Packaging Engineer that is seeking to make an immediate impact to a team while ambitiously continuing to expand their capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring a combined passion for packaging with an enthusiasm to continue to progress professionally. Required Education/Experience * Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or Sciences with 3 years of experience the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. * Experience supporting packaging development and validation activities for new product development (NPD) programs. * Working knowledge of package validation methodologies, including IQ, OQ, PQ, transportation testing, seal strength, package integrity, and aging studies. * Experience troubleshooting packaging equipment, including tray sealers, pouch sealers, heat seal equipment, or automated packaging systems. * Experience authoring engineering protocols, validation reports, technical documentation, and packaging specifications. Preferred Education/Experience: * Graduate level technical degree in packaging or biomedical science with direct risk management and failure modes and effects analysis in a regulated environment * Experience supporting international regulatory submissions * Familiarity with sterilization methods * Working knowledge of packaging software and CAD applications * Direct packaging design experience
