Can you turn drawings into durable, precise weldments? - ----------------------------------------------------- Express Employment Professionals in Lynchburg is partnering with a respected local manufacturer to add a Metal Fabrication Welder (Blueprint Specialist) to the team. ### You'll tackle * MIG and/or TIG welding of metal components using blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions. * Machine setup, parameter adjustments, and routine equipment care. * Cutting, fabricating, and assembling parts to meet production needs. * Quality checks on finished welds for accuracy and strength. * Strict adherence to safety protocols and consistent PPE use. * Housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized workstation. * General warehouse/production support as needed. * Work within a fast-paced environment with heat, noise, and metal fabrication equipment. ### Must-haves * Prior welding experience --- MIG, TIG, or Stick (as production requires). * Confident blueprint and fabrication drawing reading; accurate tape measure use. * Detail orientation and pride in craftsmanship. * Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for the full shift. * Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. * Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic. ### Compensation and hours * Pay: $18--$27 per hour, DOE * Schedule: Monday--Thursday, 10-hour shifts * Status: Full-time, with overtime opportunities Ready to put your blueprint-reading and welding skills to work?
