We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers to join our eMobility team. This position will be based in Knightdale, NC. As a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for the building, assembling, and wiring of all assemblies and sub-assemblies related to DC vehicle chargers. Shift Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Hourly Rate: $19.76 You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: * 1 year of experience performing mechanical assembly or experience in the mechanical field * 1 year of experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery operated * Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values * Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices * Able to Identify mechanical parts and electrical components * Capable of safely performing physical labor in a manufacturing environment while meeting all job requirements. * Must be able to reach, grasp, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide materials. * Ability to work standing for the entire shift and perform physical tasks including stooping, bending, squatting, crawling, sitting and climbing. * Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. * Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization. Preferred Qualifications: * HS Diploma / GED * SAP experience * Proven record in Quality and Productivity You'll make a difference by: * Assembly and wire DC charger cabinets, dispensers, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders * Perform Sub assembly work including mechanical assembly of steel and components, control wiring, power cable work, and interconnection of control wires * Record appropriate job record transactions * Read BOM, follow layouts \& assembly drawings * Set and correct use of Torque wrenches * Adhere to developed processes, methods and/or seek ways to improve * Must adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others * Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management You should be proficient in: * Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills * Maintenance and Repair Skills * Mechanical Assembly Skills * Blueprint Reading
