Maintenance Technician

### Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join a prominent Heat Treating facility. This role requires hands-on experience with heavy industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, proactive in preventative maintenance, and able to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and systems. ### Key Responsibilities: * Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and heat-treating equipment * Diagnose and repair issues involving hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, and mechanical components * Conduct welding and light fabrication to maintain and modify equipment as needed * Maintain furnaces, quench tanks, cooling systems, and other heat treating machinery * Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime * Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records * Support installation and commissioning of new equipment * Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures ### **Requirements:** * Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing or heat treating environment * Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, mechanical systems, and welding/fabrication * Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals * Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and industrial safety protocols * Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment * Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in high-temperature environments, and operate industrial tools/equipment ### **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with furnace or heat treating equipment maintenance * Basic electrical troubleshooting (a plus) * Forklift or crane certification
