**Maintenance Technician** * **Columbia (Southeast), SC** * **$32.00 - $38.00 per hour** * **2nd Shift** * **Metals Manufacturing** We're recruiting for an experienced **Maintenance Technician** to join a well-established heavy engineering manufacturer producing steel products for the water, pipework and gas industries. **What You'll Do** * Install, maintain and repair industrial machinery and equipment * Connect power supply wiring to machines and production equipment * Repair piping, hydraulic, pneumatic and auxiliary systems * Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment faults * Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections * Maintain pumps, motors and conveyor systems * Operate machine shop equipment including lathes, drill presses and grinders * Complete welding and fabrication work as required **What We're Looking For** * High School Diploma or equivalent * 3+ years' industrial maintenance experience * Experience maintaining VFDs and electric motors * Welding and fabrication experience is preferred Apply Click **Apply** or contact: **Mark Watton** 773-747-7676 **Commutable from:** Columbia, Arthurtown, Hopkins, Sandy Run, Gadsden, Eastover, Horrell Hill and Weston. **Relevant Job Titles:** Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Electrical Technician, Electrical Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
