This role focuses on helping children build independence, communication skills, and social-emotional confidence through engaging classroom experiences and structured routines. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead daily classroom instruction and routines for 2-year-old children * Implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences * Support early language, social, and cognitive development * Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment * Guide assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency * Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and classroom updates * Ensure compliance with NYC childcare licensing requirements **Qualifications** * BA or AA in Early Childhood Education preferred, CDA accepted * Candidates with 5 years of classroom experience and high school diploma considered * Prior experience leading a toddler or twos classroom preferred * Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
