This role focuses on creating engaging classroom experiences through structured routines, hands-on learning activities, and positive teacher-child relationships that help children build confidence and early learning foundations. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead daily classroom routines and activities for 2-year-old children * Support language development, social interaction, and independence skills * Implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences and classroom centers * Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment * Guide assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency * Communicate regularly with families regarding routines, milestones, and classroom updates * Ensure compliance with New York State childcare licensing requirements **Qualifications** * Minimum 12 credits in Early Childhood Education required, or CDA, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education * Prior toddler or twos classroom experience preferred * Strong classroom management and communication skills * Reliable, nurturing, and collaborative teaching approach * Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements **What We Offer** * Competitive hourly pay of $20--$23 based on education and experience * Consistent weekday schedule * Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching environment * Professional development and advancement opportunities * Employee childcare discount
