**Location:** Waterloo, IA **Salary:** $25.00 USD Hourly - $26.00 USD Hourly **Description:** **Job title** - Infrastructure Engineer **Location** - Waterloo IA **Duration** : Contract For 1 years **Key Responsibilities** * Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, software applications, and peripheral devices. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues. * Assist users with Microsoft Office applications, intranet resources, and internet-based tools. * Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software. * Monitor and maintain IT systems while ensuring compliance with company security policies. * Document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. * Escalate complex technical issues to senior support teams as needed. * Assist with user account management, password resets, and system access requests. * Support network connectivity troubleshooting and basic networking functions. * Follow established service desk procedures and provide excellent customer service to end users. **Required Qualifications** * High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. * Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred. * Equivalent technical experience will also be considered. * Basic understanding of computer systems, operating systems, and networking concepts. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications. * Knowledge of IT security practices and computer security fundamentals. * Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
