Information Technology Project Coordinator

**Job Title:** IT Project Coordinator **Duration:** 9+ month contract **Location:** Hybrid (onsite once a month) in Clearwater, FL **Hourly Rate:** $30-35/hr **Position Summary** The IT Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and tracking of projects across teams to ensure timely and successful delivery. This role works closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to coordinate resources, maintain documentation, and streamline communication. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in the planning and execution of projects from initiation through completion * Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and deliverables across teams * Track project timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies * Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and status updates * Communicate project progress to stakeholders and escalate issues as needed * Support resource allocation and ensure task ownership is clearly defined * Monitor project budgets and assist with cost tracking when applicable * Facilitate team collaboration by organizing meetings, agendas, and follow-ups * Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) * 1--3+ years of experience in project coordination, administration, or related role * Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) * Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira) **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience supporting cross-functional or client-facing projects * Experience with MS Project project management tool * Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) * Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports * Strong problem-solving and time management skills
