HR Generalist (Remote in Midwest) Job Summary Sweetwater Care Resource, a leading long-term care provider with over 50 skilled nursing facilities, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting all aspects of human resources operations, including leaves, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance across designated union and non-union facilities. We are especially interested in candidates with union and skilled nursing experience, as this background will be highly valuable in supporting our workforce. Responsibilities * Assist assigned facilities with coordinate and maintain employee records, benefits, and personnel files. * Provide guidance and support to facilities regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits. * Assist with employee relations activities, including conducting investigations, mediating conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment. * Support labor relations activities and help foster positive union-management relationships. * Assist facilities in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. * Collaborate with HR Director to develop and implement HR initiatives, programs, and best practices. Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent required; * 3--5 years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare, long-term care, or a related setting. * Union experience is strongly preferred. * Skilled nursing and/or long-term care experience strongly preferred. * Knowledge of labor relations, collective bargaining agreements, and unionized work environments is highly desirable. * Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism. * Willing to travel to multiple states. * Proficiency with HRIS systems, benefits administration platforms, and Microsoft Office applications. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
