Overview: Up North Plastics, Inc. a leading plastics manufacturer has an immediate opening for a Gate Attendant at its Cottage Grove, MN location on our 12 hour night shift. A successful candidate requires the ability to work operate a computer and communicate well with others. \*\*\*Starting Pay: $18.50 \*\*\* Qualifications: * Individual should possess excellent communication skills. * Individual should possess strong computer skills * Must have a valid driver's license * Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check Responsibilities: * Shipment scaling and releasing via computer entry. * Register all visitors properly and ensure they are sent to proper departments. * Patrol grounds on foot as well as in a company vehicle as needed. * Contact police or fire departments in event of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons * Provide coverage for other gate attendants as needed. * Complete daily report. * Communicate with your relief to ensure smooth shift transition.
