**Job Title:** Financial Planning Analyst **Location:** Dallas, TX **Salary:** $115,000 - $150,000 bonus **Skills:** Financial Planning Analyst, FP\&A, financial modeling, Excel, strategy presentations to C-suite, PowerPoint, BI tools **About the Opportunity:** My client, a well-known technology company with operations spanning multiple continents, is looking to hire a Financial Planning Analyst. This is a strategy-forward role, not a processing seat. You will have direct visibility into senior finance leadership and a real seat at the table when it comes to how the business thinks about its numbers. If you have built a career turning complex financial data into stories that actually move decisions, this is the kind of role you have been working toward. **Responsibilities:** * Own a full forecasting and budgeting cycle from start to finish, including monthly closes and annual planning * Translate financial results into clear narratives for leadership, connecting the numbers to what is actually happening in the business * Build and maintain relationships across business units to stay ahead of what is driving performance * Pull data from multiple systems and synthesize it into analyses that surface trends before they become surprises * Develop executive-ready presentations that distill complex financials into something the C-Suite can act on * Identify gaps in current FP\&A processes and take initiative to improve them, including through automation and digital tools * Partner on acquisition integration work, ensuring new financials fold in cleanly * Run ad hoc analyses when the business needs answers fast **Must-Have Skills:** 1. 5 years in FP\&A and financial reporting 2. Expert-level Excel modeling and polished PowerPoint storytelling for senior audiences 3. Experience working across multiple financial systems such as SAP, Hyperion, or similar platforms **Nice-to-Have Skills:** 1. Exposure to BI or analytics tools 2. Background in software or technology business models and their financial characteristics 3. Advanced degree or professional certification
