●Develop and implement positive employee relations strategies that promote open communication, fair treatment, and timely resolution of workplace concerns during the company's initial build-out period. ●Establish employee complaint, grievance, investigation, documentation, and escalation processes that are consistent, legally compliant, and practical for a growing organization. ●Monitor workplace climate, employee sentiment, supervisor effectiveness, and early indicators of employee relations or labor relations risk. ●Provide management guidance on employee communication, corrective action, performance improvement plans, disciplinary decisions, terminations, and risk mitigation. ●Conduct or support workplace investigations involving complaints, misconduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, or other sensitive employee matters. ●Train supervisors and managers on effective employee communication, documentation, labor law compliance, respectful workplace practices, and lawful union prevention principles. ●Ensure employee relations practices comply with the National Labor Relations Act, FLSA, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, Texas employment requirements, and other applicable regulations. ●Partner with HR leadership and external labor counsel when needed on complex employee relations, labor relations, or high-risk employment matters. ●Support the development and maintenance of employee handbook sections, workplace conduct policies, investigation templates, corrective action forms, and manager toolkits. ●Track employee relations cases, trends, root causes, and recommended corrective actions to support leadership decision-making and continuous improvement.
