Elementary Teacher  2024-2025 Salary Range: $42,000 - $76,793 current placement on salary schedule. Benefits available. 4-day work week and a 164-day contract. Following the best effective practices via scientific-based research methodology for pedagogy; the teacher presents lessons in line with the district's standards-based curriculum google drive. The teacher is expected to expose students to a scope and sequence that builds skills from one grade level to the next as well as uphold the policies as adopted by District #45-45A. **Desired Minimum Qualifications** * Hold a valid Montana Class 1 or 2 Teaching License with Elementary Education Endorsement (minimum) or K-12 Enhancement (preferred), or be able to obtain.  * Ability to write reports and business correspondence. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from students, parents, staff, and the community. * Ability to handle stressful situations. * Ability to maintain confidentiality of employment and student matters. * Ability to effectively manage time and responsibilities. Supplemental Information The school district has cutting edge technology for teaching that includes; smart boards, chrome books and computer labs. Every grade level has an instructional team that focuses on unit alignment. Every school building has a leadership team that helps with overall school/district initiatives. Newly hired teachers may qualify for loan forgiveness through the Montana Quality Educator Loan Assistance program (each of our schools are listed as "impacted schools.")
