Our company continues to deliver record sales led by a talented team and a commitment to "Fun Served Here". **POSITION SUMMARY:** \*\*This position will be a sales route drive in San Antonio, Tx\*\* Under the supervision of the operations leadership, the Route Sales Driver ensures that the Dippin' Dots Company is always represented in a professional and courteous manner. Customer service is always capitalized at Dippin' Dots, and we have a commitment to success to not only our customers but also our partners and our peers. Route Sales Drivers must develop strong relationships with store personnel, and they must be motivated toward in-store merchandising and POS (point of sale). Daily, they are expected to deliver products, complete, and rotate account inventory, complete invoices, clean machines, and replace promotional materials. Route Sales Drivers will work with minimal supervision and are required to attend meetings as scheduled with their supervisor. Individuals in this role are provided with a vehicle to complete their route, uniforms, cell phone, tablet, and gas card. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** * Responsible for loading/unloading the company vehicle to ensure inventory for delivery prepared for daily route. Completes inventory count at the beginning and the end of shift each day. * Completes scheduled deliveries assigned and ensures prompt delivery of products and promotional items. * Discusses with store personnel any new product to be left and informs them of new promotional items. * Ensures that the proper training of Dippin' Dots equipment is discussed with any store personnel that are not familiar with machine operation. * Cleans and stocks freezer(s), trouble shoots minor issues and reports any repair needs to equipment service. * The route may also include vending machines. They will be cleaned, stocked and the product rotated. * Additional training will be given in vending machine operation. I removed the part about COD orders that was here * Documents store provided PO # on invoices at necessary accounts. * Performs weekly vehicle checks. DOT vehicles, driver must fill out a DVIR (daily vehicle inspection report). * Performs assigned general warehouse duties including but not limited to cleaning, organizing, rotating product, shipping and receiving of equipment, parts, and product. * Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor. **COMPETENCIES:** To perform this job successfully, the Route Sales Driver must be self-motivated and have the ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. * Must possess enthusiasm and motivation toward in-store merchandising and POS. * Must be able to successfully maintain customer relations, interpersonal relationships, team relations, and service. * Excellent organization and time management skills. * Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner. * Great oral and written communication skills. Must be comfortable performing basic mathematical functions as well. * Must pas annual DOT physical. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** * High school diploma or equivalent. * Must be at least 21 years of age due to DOT requirements. * Preferred two (2) years Customer Service and/or Route Driving experience. * Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. * Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs. required. * Ability to Drive more than 75% of the time. * Must have and wear steel-toed shoes.
