We are in search of a dynamic and bilingual dental assistant to join our team. A CDA with a minimum of 1 year of chairside experience. Coronal polish certification is preferred but not necessary. Your role involves all aspects of general dentistry, including same-day CEREC crowns, oral surgery, endodontic procedures, and more.Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, energetic, personable, detail-oriented, and committed to exceptional patient care. We offer a competitive wage and benefits which include a retirement option, medical, and dental..Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Provide outstanding customer service with an excellent chairside mannerAssist the dentist in utilizing proper four-handed dentistry techniques, observing universal precautionsBe cognizant of doctor schedules and patient flowComply with office policies and proceduresAssume the standards of care related to infection control; following OSHA guidelines and ensuring safety protocols are upheldExpose and digitally record ordered radiographsMaintain dental operatories in an organized and clean fashion, assuring appropriate instruments and supplies are availableWork with the doctor to maintain adequate dental supplies and submit orders for necessary supplies for review and approvalMaintain patient comfort before, during, and after dental proceduresClean and prepare instruments for sterilizationSterilize and/or disinfect instruments, handpieces, and ancillary equipmentAssist office and doctor in maintaining patient records and informed consent documentsChart existing dentistry and current conditions in a computerized dental chartTake impressions for various prosthetic procedures and study modelsDemonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-related criteria pertinent to the patientsPunctual, and demonstrate a sense of urgency in your daily tasksMinimum Qualifications:Current CPR certificationHigh School Diploma1 year of chairside dental assisting experience preferredCoronal Polish Certificate (preferred)We are looking for a knowledgeable and supportive team player to support in our growth.
