CNC Machinists - 1st shift

**Position Overview:** This position is responsible for setup and operating CNC production machines to manufacture parts to meet customer orders. Experience preferred. We offer a **competitive shift differential** for applicable schedules, along with **overtime opportunities** based on business needs. **Job Duties:** * Maintain production equipment to meet customer orders. * Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, material specifications, drawings, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting dimensions and tolerances. * Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. * Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufactures instructions; troubleshooting malfunction. * Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. * Maintain production and quality records. * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. **Skills and Knowledge:** * Basic math * Blueprint reading * Basic knowledge of G and M codes. * Utilize various measuring gages. * Attention to detail and communication skills, oral and written. **Education and Experience:** * High School diploma or equivalent required * Minimum 2 years experience as a CNC machine operator Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications.
