Sundial is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and mission-driven Clinical Operations Manager to join our growing team. This role is central to ensuring the quality, consistency, and operational excellence of Sundial's clinical services across multiple sites. The Clinical Operations Manager will oversee clinical staff, lead training programs, manage scheduling, and serve as a key liaison between Sundial and collaborating fertility centers. This individual will play a critical role in shaping patient experience, supporting clinical team members, and driving operational growth within a fast-paced startup environment. The Clinical Operations Manager will report directly to the Director of Clinical Operations and collaborate closely with leadership to support program success. **CORE RESPONSIBILITIES** **Clinical Operations \& Staff Management** * Oversee recruitment, screening, interviewing, and hiring of clinical team members * Lead onboarding and ongoing clinical training for sonographers and mobile clinical assistants (MCAs) * Provide real time support for clinical questions from sonographers and MCAs * Identify operational issues and incorporate learnings into training, protocols, and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and empower staff * Lead or co-lead monthly clinical staff meetings to support communication, alignment, and continuous improvement across the clinical team * Manage HR-related functions for all clinical staff, including performance management and year-end reviews **Quality Assurance \& Clinical Excellence** * Conduct routine quality assurance reviews to ensure adherence to Sundial's clinical standards * Support continuous improvement initiatives to elevate patient experience and clinical consistency * Oversee the use, maintenance and troubleshooting of Sundial's clinical devices and systems **Scheduling \& Workflow Coordination** * Create, manage, and optimize clinical schedules across multiple sites * Prioritize scheduling needs and resolve conflicts to ensure seamless operations * Manage phone call and messaging schedules, including patient and clinical staff inquiries **Cross-Functional Communication \& Collaboration** * Serve as a primary point of communication between Sundial and collaborating fertility centers * Act as a representative and advocate for Sundial in interactions with external partners * Work collaboratively with the Director of Clinical Operations and CEO to ensure delivery of the high-quality clinical care and patient satisfaction **Multi-Site Operational Support** * Support clinical operations across multiple locations within a defined geography * Travel between sites as needed to oversee operations, support staff, and ensure consistency of care * Adapt to a startup environment and contribute to operational growth as Sundial expands **QUALIFICATIONS** * Minimum of three plus (3 ) years of relevant work experience in clinical operations, healthcare management, or a related field * Experience hiring, training, and supervising clinical staff * Prior experience and proficiency with phlebotomy to train and assist MCAs with blood draws preferred, or interest in learning and becoming expert in phlebotomy * Experience in reproductive health and fertility care preferred * Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for travel between sites * Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset * Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage conflict, and support staff development * Strong problem-solving skills, accountability, professionalism, and adaptability * High proficiency with technology platforms, including electronic medical records * Comfort working in a fast paced, evolving startup environment * Clinical credentials, such as degrees or certificates, in a related field preferred * Experience supporting multi-site operations or working in a startup environment preferred * United States work authorization **WORKING CONDITIONS** This is an office-based position, located in Cambridge, MA. There will be regular car travel to clinical sites, including but not limited to North Andover, MA. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Some lifting, maneuvering, and assembling of clinical equipment may be necessary to support clinic and mobile operations. As Sundial expands, responsibilities in this role may broaden to support new clinical sites and evolving operational needs within the manager's assigned region. **Hours, Schedule \& Compensation** This is a full-time role that includes regular in-office and remote on-call responsibilities. The in-office work for this position will be expected to be Monday through Friday. This position is salaried and benefits eligible, including medical and dental coverage and paid time off. The salary for this full-time role will range from $65,000 to $80,000 annually. Sundial is an equal opportunity employer.
