**About the Role** The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization's fundraising strategy and execution. This position leads efforts across multiple revenue streams, including major gifts, partnerships, grants, and events, while managing key stakeholder relationships. The CDO also leads the development team, ensuring strong performance, collaboration, and alignment with organizational goals. This role contributes to overall strategy, growth, and long-term sustainability. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve revenue goals. * Manage relationships with major donors, partners, and other stakeholders. * Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and revenue streams. * Lead and support the development team, including setting goals and monitoring performance. * Oversee fundraising operations, including donor pipeline management and reporting. * Support organizational planning and decision-making as a member of the leadership team. * Represent the organization externally and communicate its mission and impact. **Qualifications** * Significant experience in fundraising, development, or related leadership roles. * Proven ability to meet or exceed fundraising targets. * Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills. * Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or strategic planning. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Familiarity with a range of fundraising methods and tools.
