Requirements - ----------- ### Must have: ### - We prefer a bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. - We require 1 to 4 years of healthcare IT experience, including at least 1 year as an Epic analyst. - We strongly prefer Epic certification, with Cadence and Referrals certification required and experience with Ambulatory or Cadence applications highly valued. - We require a Hello World badge. - We need functional knowledge of EHR software and familiarity with healthcare terminology and medical coding. - We expect strong proficiency with MS Office applications. - We value proven customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. - We look for the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, work independently, and contribute effectively as part of a team. - We prefer candidates with prior healthcare experience and the ability to remain composed and effective under pressure. - We expect strong organizational and time-management skills and comfort handling confidential patient information. Responsibilities: - ---------------- - We plan, design, test, implement, support, and maintain functionality for Cadence, Referrals, and related Ambulatory workflows. - We collaborate with clinical and operational users to understand needs, define system requirements, and evaluate feasible solutions. - We serve as a liaison between IS and patient care areas, supporting education, training materials, and clinical application guidance. - We lead new implementations, upgrades, and feature rollouts, coordinating pilots, full deployments, and user feedback. - We create and maintain build elements, workflows, documentation, reports, database dictionaries, scripts, and security roles. - We troubleshoot system and security issues, support help desk tickets and user inquiries, and provide timely operational support. - We test new releases and version upgrades to help ensure smooth system performance and reliability. - We mentor team members, share knowledge across teams, and contribute as a technical resource for related projects. - We maintain detailed system knowledge and documentation, and stay current on application improvements and best practices. - We take initiative for our professional growth and continuously look for ways to improve the patient experience. - -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Company: - ------- We are Methodist Health System, a faith-based organization committed to improving and saving lives through compassionate, high-quality healthcare.
