AR Accounting Analyst **Location:** Hybrid (4 days in office, Work From Home on Fridays) **Salary:** $70,000--$80,000 What They're Looking For The hiring manager's top priorities are: 1. **Progress Billing / Defense-Based Billing experience** 2. **Experience with Unanet** (strongly preferred) 3. **Government Contract Accounting experience**, including familiarity with FAR regulations Key Responsibilities * Manage the full Accounts Receivable lifecycle * Prepare and issue customer invoices * Apply and reconcile incoming payments * Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment delays * Manage collections and customer follow-up * Process credit memos and adjustments * Support month-end close and AR reporting * Assist with additional accounting functions as needed Why Candidates Are Interested * Significant ownership and visibility within the organization * Opportunity to wear multiple hats and broaden accounting experience * Strong company growth through 10+ acquisitions over the last few years * Long-term, family-oriented leadership with a focus on business continuity and growth Schedule * Monday--Friday, 8:00 AM--5:00 PM Central Time * Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required during peak periods Ideal Candidate * 3+ years of AR/Billing experience * Experience billing government contracts * Familiarity with Progress Billing and Defense Contract Billing * Unanet experience preferred * Strong collections, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
