For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate. As an Aerospace Engineer, you will support the Aircraft Architect in engineering activities for the H135 and H145M helicopter programmes throughout the product lifecycle. Your work will cover aircraft requirements, architecture and integration, as well as evidence of compliance and the assessment of aircraft performance in operation. **Your tasks** * Support the Aircraft Architect from concept and feasibility through preliminary development, development, certification, qualification and operation to retirement, including requirements capture and validation, architecture optimisation, compliance demonstration and monitoring of operational performance to maintain continuing airworthiness and qualification * Assess, compare through trade-off analyses and optimise aircraft architectures and design solutions under the Aircraft Architect's guidance * Contribute to demonstrating compliance with requirements and monitoring operational performance, continuing airworthiness and qualification * Support overall product integration in line with customer requirements and needs across the full lifecycle * Create and review aircraft requirements under the Aircraft Architect's supervision; analyse architectures and design solutions to help select the best approach, including considerations of industrialisation and manufacturing optimisation * Support the management of functional and physical interfaces, compatibility and interdependencies between aircraft systems, and contribute to validating and securing the product development logic needed to achieve product maturity * Support the definition of Systems Engineering plans and approaches, including validation and verification strategies, and the validation of means of compliance for initial and continuous product development, including aircraft-level safety and certification and, where applicable, requirements beyond airworthiness * Analyse operational data to assess in-service fleet performance and initiate preventive design specifications that help meet customer requirements throughout the aircraft's service life * Support aircraft-level development activities in a multidisciplinary team, including risk analyses, development planning and the organisation of development reviews **Your profile** * Completed master's or Diplom degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, engineering or a comparable field of study * More than five years of professional experience in aerospace * Several years of engineering experience, including Systems Engineering and system architecture activities * Basic knowledge of German and business-fluent English * Experience with the helicopter programmes is an advantage * Excellent communication skills, intercultural competence, adaptability and a structured, precise approach to work Please send us your CV in English for this position. **We offer** * Challenging assignment directly at the customer with employment at HESYS Engineering * Personal support from the first interview through to the assignment * Clear feedback, short communication paths and fixed contacts * Insight into specialized tasks with well-known industrial customers **Why HESYS** * Specialization in technical roles in aerospace, defence and high-tech * Long-standing experience in demanding engineering and industrial environments * Strong understanding of our customers' requirements and specialist departments * A door opener to demanding assignments with leading industrial companies HESYS Technical Systems GmbH \& Co.
