2026/2027 Adjunct Lecturer - Healthcare Studies - ABH Addictions and Behavioral Health Program

The Department of Healthcare Studies (HCS) at SUNY Brockport is currently seeking applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions, primarily focused on teaching within the Addictions \& Behavioral Health (ABH) program.**Essential Functions:** Teaching (100%) * Teaches assigned philosophy courses in addictions and behavioral health or a related field * Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate * Produces effective course materials * Achieves student learning outcomes * Holds open office hours for students * Infuses diversity issues into teaching, as pedagogically appropriate **Minimum Qualifications:** * Master's degree in a field related to addictions \& behavioral health by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or equivalent professional experience * Demonstrated experience in training/teaching and classroom management **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses related to addiction, behavioral health, or a related topic * Online and classroom teaching experience preferred * Experience in student mentorship preferred Work Schedule: Variable**Salary and Benefits:** $5,500 stipend per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent.
